I mentioned, many blogs ago, that I thought it would be a good idea if the guards at Buckingham Palace were replaced by GORILLAS. Stanley Johnson – Boris’s dad – who had been walking in the Congo had feared they might have been WIPED OUT. I thought that introducing gorillas to the palace would be a GOOD MOVE FOR BORIS and a GOOD TOURIST ATTRACTION. It would ensure that they become A PROTECTED SPECIES. Well news reaches me today about the plight of KADOGO, the WORLD’S ONLY BALD GORILLA. He is nine years old and lives in a national park in the Congo. Rangers there can not work out what may be causing Kadogo TO GO HAIRLESS. My concern is that there may be an ENVIRONMENTAL REASON for KADOGO GOING BALD and this gives me even more reason to have him SHIPPED TO THE UK.
If he were TO TAKE UP RESIDENCE outside the palace then his bald patch could be hidden by a BEARSKIN ON HIS HEAD. But then, as my friend Ram has pointed out (Ram’s dad is a human right’s lawyer)… perhaps KADOGO might have a CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTION to WEARING A BEARSKIN and maybe he could become a CHAMPION FOR BALDIES. Ram says Kadogo COULD BECOME AN INSPIRATION FOR BALD TOURISTS during the CHANGING OF THE GORILLAS.
