Sarah the Spider’s Christmas Surprise

Sarah the Spider's Christmas Surprise - front cover

Description

When Sarah the ballet dancing spider sends a secret note to Father Christmas, she asks for some very important presents for her friends. On Christmas morning, she is surprised to find a very special present left for her.

The idea behind the book

The Sarah The Spider series was written to help my daughter cope with a fear of spiders. I couldn't find a book about a friendly spider so I wrote one in rhyme, like a nursery rhyme. This poetic form is called 'doggerel'. People ask if she is still scared of spiders. She is! But not the little ones.
